After a year and a half of research and dissemination, the Digital Social Innovation (DSI) project comes to an end. The closing ceremony will be held at the De Gasperi Room in the Charlemagne building, in Brussels, next 17th of Febrary.
The event will show the attendants the final results of the study conducted by the six partners in the project, which have focused on initiatives of collaborative innovation in which innovators, users and communities co-create knowledge and solutions for a wide range of social needs exploiting the network effect of the Internet.
The opening remarks will be made by Geoff Mulgan, CEO at Nesta, and Fabrizio Sestini, Scientific Officer at the European Commission’s DG Connect. Following the presentation of the study conclusions, there will be three workshops on innovation policy, the innovators perspective and the need of an institutional change. Mario Campolargo, from the European Commission’s DG Connect, will make the closing remarks.
ESADE, through the Center for Innovation in Cities, has been an active partner of the project and professors Esteve Almirall and Mila Gascó will be at the Charlemagne building next 17th of February.
